Once upon a time, there was a dog named Magic who was particularly proud of her magnificent magical tail. Whether by painting the sky with rainbows, flying with the morning swallows, or guiding lost souls, Magic’s magical tail knew no bounds.
One day, while she was practicing a new trick in the nearby forest, she encountered a group of petty little pixies. The elves were fascinated by Magic’s magical feats and wanted to learn more about her talents. The pixies, who normally stayed hidden from view, introduced themselves to Magic; Always so friendly, she offered them to accompany her during her next performance.
The pixies enthusiastically accepted and mischievously followed her to the village, where a crowd of spectators eagerly awaited her performance. The pixies, very skilled at camouflage, were able to hide and observe the spectacle. She got to work, using her tail to perform incredible magic tricks. The spectators were dazzled by her talents and cheered her with joy.
However, what she didn’t know was that the pixies had decided to strip Magic of his magic. While she performed a particularly impressive trick, they carried out their plan and stole Magic’s tail. Unfortunately, she had been so focused on her performance that she hadn’t realized what was happening. When she turned her head to look for her tail, she didn’t find it. She was stunned and immediately felt sad for losing her magic tail.
The people of the village could not understand how pixies could do such a thing. They, therefore, sent the village mayor to negotiate with the small creatures who lived in the forest.
“Magic doesn’t deserve this fate. Look how she fears being touched now. She no longer wants to come see us and fears us. Your greed has hurt Magic. I demand that you give her her tail back immediately,” shouted the mayor once he reached the forest.
A sigh was felt in the misty forest. “We now see our mistake. It wasn’t the tail that was magic. The magic comes from her pure heart. We have destroyed something magical with our greed for power. We regret it. We can’t restore Magic’s magic, but we can watch over her until she can find the magic of finding a family. »
Sometimes, out of the corner of one eye, we see a small, rapid movement. A small creature hiding between two bins of food, or we hear a small voice whispering “We’re sorry Magic”. Her protectors are discreet, but the legend of Magic leaves no doubt; she is exceptional and still has some magic left even without her tail. Don’t be surprised to see a little pixie in your living room who comes to look out for her once she is adopted.
