Archie ranks among Canada’s top software companies in G2’s 2026 awards

Workspace management platform Archie has been ranked No. 11 among the Best Software Companies in Canada in the 2026 Best Software Awards published by G2, a leading global software marketplace and review platform.

The company also recorded the largest jump in the ranking this year, moving 32 positions from No. 43 in 2025 to No. 11 in 2026.

The list highlights the top 50 Canadian software companies selected from 1,893 vendors evaluated this year, placing those included among roughly the top 1% of the country’s software sector.

Within that already highly selective group, Archie stands out as the company experiencing the biggest leap forward among vendors that appeared in the ranking in both 2025 and 2026.

G2’s Best Software Awards are based on verified user reviews and market presence data across the platform, which attracts millions of software buyers each year and ranks vendors according to customer satisfaction and overall market impact.

A list that includes Canada’s most recognizable software companies

Archie appears alongside several of Canada’s most prominent software companies, reflecting the country’s continued strength in the global SaaS ecosystem.

The ranking includes well-known Canadian platforms such as Shopify, Hootsuite, 1Password, Docebo and FreshBooks, companies that have built large international customer bases and represent some of the most recognizable software brands to emerge from Canada over the past two decades.

This year’s awards also highlight Canada’s presence on the global software stage. Seven Canadian companies made G2’s Global Top 100 Software Companies list, with Hootsuite ranking as high as No. 12 worldwide.

The biggest ranking jump in the 2026 list

While several companies moved positions in the ranking this year, Archie recorded the largest increase overall, climbing 32 places.

That jump moves the company from the lower half of the list in 2025 to just outside the top 10 in 2026, placing it among the highest-ranked emerging vendors on the list.

The second- and third-largest ranking increases were recorded by RFP software provider Loopio Inc. and fitness management platform WellnessLiving Systems, ranked 17th and 29th respectively.

Because the ranking aggregates customer satisfaction scores and market presence across a vendor’s products, strong user adoption and consistently positive reviews play a major role in determining placement.

Only companies with a minimum number of recent verified reviews are eligible to be considered, ensuring rankings reflect real user feedback collected during the evaluation period.

Recognition in a competitive software landscape

Canada’s software industry has expanded rapidly in recent years, producing globally recognized platforms across categories such as e-commerce, cybersecurity, finance and enterprise collaboration.

The Best Software Companies in Canada list reflects this diversity, bringing together companies ranging from long-established platforms to newer SaaS vendors gaining momentum through customer adoption.

For Archie, reaching No. 11 in the 2026 ranking places the company within a small group of vendors operating at the highest level of Canada’s software ecosystem. Archie provides workspace management tools including room and desk booking, visitor management, and coworking management software used by companies and flexible workspace operators.

Among the companies featured in the ranking, only two operate in the space management software category: Archie and FacilityOS, which ranked No. 40. After climbing 32 places in a single year, Archie now sits just outside the top 10—marking one of the most notable movements in this year’s ranking.
