Escape Coffee Company is a speciality coffee store. As an eco-conscious brand, they offer their clients a physical space for experimenting and tasting coffee in all its forms, as well as it being a point of sale in Montréal for their own roasted coffee beans. We spoke with David Boucher, the owner and general manager, to learn more about how this business works.

Escape, we import, perfectly roast and distribute speciality coffee the greenest way possible.

How does your business make money? How does it work?
We sell coffee beans to clients. Online, via coffee shops and grocery stores.

We are based out of the southwest of Montreal.
What is the best question a prospective customer could ask a member of your profession when comparing services? Give the answer as well.
Why are you different from other coffee brands? We select, roast and sell some of the best speciality coffees on the market. Our bags are compostable. We deliver our clients with reusable buckets (for bulk) that we wash and reuse saving thousands of bags from the landfill. We deliver via electric vehicle and bike in Montreal. We are a certified carbon-neutral product and company. We have over 22 different products and we love to see our bags on your counter, whatever the profile you prefer.
What is the best part about what you do? What is the worst part?
The best part is the taste of speciality coffee. The worst part is dealing with the commodity of burnt coffee that has been on the market for the past centuries.
