Fred needs a little time to adjust to a new environment, but once he feels comfortable, he becomes a very affectionate companion who seeks to form a real bond with you.
He is a calm cat, a little shy at first, who prefers to hide in a quiet corner when he discovers a new place. This behaviour makes him feel safe, but he usually gets used to his new home quickly.
Fred lives with diabetes, but he accepts his injections without any problem, he lets you do it gently, which makes care much easier.
Very talkative when he feels lonely, he also likes to stretch out all over the house, preferably in a place where he can keep an eye on you. He is never far away, always discreet but attentive to the presence of his humans.
Fred is looking for a patient and loving family, ready to offer him a stable home where he can flourish with confidence.

About this column:
Each week we feature animals available for adoption from local shelters in the Montréal area with the hopes that our readers will assist in finding good homes for them.
