Roxanne is an adorable, affectionate cat. Once you’ve created a bond of trust and affection with her, she’ll come begging for attention and cuddles a few times a day. She loves to climb up on the counter to get to her human’s level and then rub her face on his. She also loves to come and snuggle in our arms on her own, as if she were a baby, to receive affection. When we lie on our stomachs, she likes to lie on our backs. If we lie on our backs or sideways, she’ll come and lie between our legs.
Rox (for her friends) is very food-motivated. While this is a great advantage for her upbringing (it’s easy to reward her with food), it also requires a certain amount of patience on your part. Indeed, Rox is eager to taste (devour) any food that comes within her field of vision, olfactory field and/or auditory field (opening the fridge door or a kitchen cupboard door). Extremely perseverant (one of her best qualities), she keeps trying even when put down several times. Patience, gentleness and perseverance are the key to finding common ground.
All aspects of her personality make her a perfect companion.
Bonus: a great communicator, she enjoys expressing herself and making small talk.
