My business is called Vintage Luxe Events Montreal, and it’s a wedding planning company
What made you want to do this work?
It was a pure coincidence, when mI just graduated from school in event planning and I just launched my company and a photographer that I did a styled photoshoot with for my company told me that one of her clients for a wedding was looking for a wedding planner and asked me if I would be interested, I told her yes and that was the first wedding that I ever planned and the rest was history!

Do you have a certification in wedding planning?
The answer is yes, I have my certification in both wedding planning and Destination Wedding Planning. I got my certification from the Wedding Planning Institute of Canada, which is based in Toronto.
What is the best part about what you do? What is the worst part?
Best part, seeing my clients’ faces on their wedding day when the reception and ceremony space is all set up just like they have imagined!
The worst part is the long hours and working most weekends.
What is your favourite joke about your own profession?
That wedding planners are just an overpriced babysitter
