Asta is a very energetic dog, he loves to be petted and to be with us wherever we are in the house. During these walks, he often wants to run which causes him to pull a lot on the leash. He doesn’t bark much when we’re at home unless there’s a stray cat passing in front of the balcony door or an unfamiliar person approaching. But when he’s home alone he barks a lot. Asta doesn’t really like to be disturbed when he’s asleep, so if there’s a lot of noise he’ll rarely growl as if to say “make less noise”. When there are visitors he jumps on them to be petted but when the stroking starts there’s no end to it because he likes it so much, when it’s not enough for him he’ll reach for the hand with his paw for more stroking. He also loves to lick. Asta is a playful dog who sometimes goes to get his toys to play with. He likes to sleep on the bed. He doesn’t like it when one of our cats challenges him with a look. Asta loves all wooden furniture. When Asta bites hands, it’s not because he wants to do harm, it’s just his way of wanting to play. I don’t want people to think he’s an aggressive dog, people tend to be afraid of him because of his energy, and they think Asta will attack them, which isn’t the case.
