Hi, I’m Roxy! I’ve been looking for a long time for a home to spend the rest of my life in. I’m an old dog who just wants to be loved and cared for. All I need is a home without stairs or steps, easily accessible rest areas where I can do what I love most: sleep!
Once in your home, I will need time to adjust and adapt to the new environment. Your patience will be rewarded with my incredible loyalty, gentleness and who knows, some great cuddle sessions? As for exercise, you will have to make sure I can relieve myself frequently, but I would be satisfied with very short walks at my own pace. I am a quiet dog who is looking for a calm and comfortable environment where I can finally rest.
Regarding other animals, I don’t tolerate them very well, as I am old and not as fit as I used to be – I have strong emotions when I meet them. I would much rather be the only animal in the house, which is mainly composed of adults. I think it’s about time I had a family that would give me their full attention. So you can imagine that I am looking for a quiet place to live where I can settle into a nice and comforting routine. I dream of a peaceful and quiet life, full of opportunities for rest and relaxation.
The SPCA staff and volunteers say I am gentle, kind and calm! Shelter life is not ideal for an ageing dog like me! I deserve a family that will take my health and well-being to heart. What are you waiting for to give me the chance to grow old with you?
