Kimchi is delicious, and this Kimchi Pancakes recipe from Naked & Saucy is perfect to impress guests without needing to spend hours in front of the stove! This recipe includes gluten-free flour and is vegan, plus the accompanying sauce has all the flavours of a traditional soy sauce mix, but without soy and lower sodium by using Naked & Saucy Original Aminos. Kimchi Pancakes with Dipping Sauce

Ingredients:

For Kimchi Pancake

  • 1/2 cup GF flour
  • 1/4 cup rice flour
  • 1 cup kimchi, chopped
  • 2 scallions, chopped
  • 3 Tbsp kimchi juice
  • 1/3 cup cold water

For Dipping Sauce

  • 3 Tbsp Classic Aminos
  • 1 Tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp roasted sesame seeds

Directions:

1. Chop the kimchi into bite-sized pieces; this is important as it makes it easier to eat

2. Slice the scallion into 1/2″ diagonal pieces

3. Mix together the GF four and rice flour. Add the kimchi, kimchi juice, and scallion. Add water if necessary. Stir until the batter is thick

4. Preheat the pan on medium heat. Pour the batter onto the pan and smooth it out with a spatula to create an even layer

5. Pan fry until you can flip it over and cook for another 5 minutes

6. While the kimchi pancake is being cooked, prepare your dipping sauce by combining all ingredients together.
