Clark Influence, founded by Nicolas Bon, is a creative agency specializing in influencer marketing and social media management. Based in Montreal, Toronto, and Paris, Clark Influence operates globally, bridging the gap between brands and culture by crafting compelling stories through collaborations with creators who naturally engage audiences.
What is your business called and what does it do?
We’re Clark Influence, a creative agency that specializes in influencer marketing and social media management. At our core, we help brands tell stories that people actually want to hear by collaborating with creators who know how to spark attention, start conversations, and build trust. Think of us as the bridge between brands and culture.
What made you want to do this work?
I’ve always been fascinated by the intersection of creativity, business, and culture. I knew this space was the future when I saw how creators reshaped how people discover brands (not through ads, but through authentic, everyday content ). I wanted to build an agency to help brands navigate that shift and grow by being more human, real, and connected.
What problem did you want to solve with the business?
Traditional advertising often talks at people. We wanted to flip that dynamic and help brands show up with people in their feed, world, and language. Our goal is to make marketing feel like part of the conversation, not an interruption.
Who are your clientele/demographics?
We work with a wide mix, from fast-growing startups to established brands across food, travel, lifestyle, and tech to name a few. What they all have in common is the desire to connect with audiences in a way that feels real, creative, and culturally relevant.
How does your business make money? How does it work?
We offer full-service influencer marketing and social media strategy, from concept to execution. That includes strategy development, creator casting, content production, community management, and performance tracking. Brands work with us on a project or retainer basis, depending on their needs.
Where in the city can we find your profession?
We’re proudly based in Montreal, Toronto, and Paris, but in reality, we’re a bit everywhere. This means our work connects with audiences across North America and Europe, wherever creators and conversations are happening.
What is the best question a prospective customer could ask a member of your profession when comparing services? Give the answer as well.
Q: “How do you ensure influencer partnerships don’t feel forced or fake?”
A: Great question, and honestly, it’s everything. We handpick creators who already live the brand’s values and speak the language of their audience. We don’t believe in “insert-brand-here” shoutouts. It’s about fit, chemistry, and giving creators the space to do what they do best: tell a story their followers will care about.
What is the best part about what you do? What is the worst part?
The best part? Watching a campaign spark genuine engagement, when a creator posts something and the comments are filled with “omg this is so you,” or “now I want to try this.” That’s the magic.
The worst part? The pace. Social media doesn’t sleep, and trends move fast. But that’s also what keeps it exciting. You must stay sharp, curious, and ready to reinvent the playbook often.
What is your favourite joke about your own profession?
Some brands tell us, “We want this to feel 100% authentic… but can we approve the script, the tone, etc, etc…?”
