Rosie is generally a calm dog but loves to play, especially with rope toys. She has good learning potential but will need a family willing to work with her on certain behaviours, including her reactivity toward other dogs and some people.
Rosie cannot live with or have contact with other dogs, as she is fearful and can react strongly in their presence. Living with cats is also not recommended, as she appears to have a strong prey drive toward anything that moves.
Rosie must be adopted into a home without children: she can be uneasy around strangers, especially men, and has reacted in the past. She is fully house-trained and will adapt well to a regular outdoor routine. In terms of activity, Rosie needs a moderate level of exercise, such as several daily walks and play sessions, particularly with ropes, which she loves. She is looking for a calm, patient, and experienced family ready to provide a safe environment and plenty of gentle care.
