Bonnie the dog is looking for a new home in the Montréal area

6-year-old Bonnie is so charming, she’ll win you over at first glance! Gentle and calm by nature, Bonnie enjoys peace and quiet above all. That said, she still has little bursts of excitement throughout the day! She loves tennis balls and has a soft spot for very small toys… even the ones made for cats! That’s right, she gets along beautifully with the 2 cats in her foster home.

This adorable companion is rather timid. Going outside takes a lot of courage for her, and for now, her outings are very short. Bonnie is used to going out in a fenced yard; it’s kind of her safe space. With gradual exposure and ongoing positive experiences, Bonnie could eventually grow to enjoy walks with you.

Because she’s timid, she tends to be uneasy around other dogs, especially those who are very energetic, but she can get along well with calm dogs who respect her space.

Bonnie has never been fully housetrained, so she may occasionally have accidents indoors. These can happen, for example, if she isn’t taken out immediately after waking up. However, this issue is well managed with frequent outings.

Affectionate and sweet as can be, Bonnie will be a wonderful companion for a family ready to welcome her with kindness and compassion.
