Juulie Rousseau is an artist with diverse influences, and her music embodies the essence of her travels and encounters. Her style, which she defines as Multi-Monde, reflects this plural identity, shaped by her explorations between East and West, as well as between the world of birds and that of humans. Each journey, from India to Mongolia, from Turkey to Iran, nourishes her art with a deep sensitivity. Through her music, she bears witness to the invisible connections that bind individuals, beyond borders and words.
She has received numerous grants, including those from the Conseil des Arts et Lettres du Québec, the Canada Council for the Arts, Musicaction, and a grant from the Mongolian Embassy in Canada.
In 2007, Juulie released her first album, Comme le Monde, followed by Landscape in 2014. In 2021, she presented an EP titled Flowers of Prophecies. On May 13th, she launched her album-book project Birds – La Conférence des Oiseaux at Le Lion d’Or.
