Nominated for Album of the Year at the Latin Awards Canada for her debut “Caídas” (2022), Lapelúda is a rising voice in the indie-folk scene, blending the soul of Latin American musical traditions with a deeply personal, contemporary touch. Based in Tiohtià:ke (Montréal), the Colombian-Québécoise artist has enchanted audiences across the country, most recently as an opening act for Silvana Estrada at the 2024 POP Montréal Festival. With a voice that carries both vulnerability and power, Lapelúda transcends language barriers through trilingual storytelling—offering songs that serve as healing threads between innocence, grief, reconciliation, and joy. Her upcoming EP “Entre cielo y tierra” (Fall 2025) deepens her exploration of life’s fragility and resilience, with a launch concert at Salle Bourgie in Montréal.
