Picasso is an affectionate and expressive dog full of energy and curiosity. A big fan of toys, he especially loves squeaky toys, which quickly become some of his favourite activities! Playful and engaged, he enjoys interacting with his humans and will thrive in an active and stimulating daily routine.
Curious about the world around him, Picasso can be very enthusiastic on walks and tends to pull strongly on leash. He may also react to certain triggers, especially squirrels and dogs encountered while walking. With a kind, structured approach based on positive reinforcement, Picasso has all the potential to make great progress and develop positive habits.
At home, Picasso will benefit from a stable, enriching, and predictable environment. Like many dogs who find solitude more difficult, he may need gradual support to become more comfortable being left alone.
Picasso also displays resource guarding around food and certain objects. His future family will need to be mindful of this, respect his space, and continue positive guidance to build trust and confidence. For this reason, living with another dog is not recommended.
Due to his prey drive toward small animals, living with cats is not recommended.
Picasso is looking for a present and patient family ready to support him in his learning journey while providing a stable environment. Because of his clumsiness, a home without children would be preferable.
Funny, lovable, and full of potential, Picasso is waiting for a family ready to build a wonderful bond with him.
