Arti Gogna, designer and owner of her namesake fashion brand Arti Gogna Clothing, creates elegant evening dresses for women to wear during their most special occasions. Based in Saint-Laurent, Quebec, her business focuses on producing Canadian-made clothing that is both affordable and designed with curvier women in mind, using comfortable fabrics for formal wear. With a passion for fashion dating back to her childhood, Arti turned her love for creating Barbie clothes into a thriving business.

What is your business called and what does it do?

It is named after me “arti gogna” and we sell evening dresses for women on their most special occasions.

What made you want to do this work?

I’ve had a passion for fashion since I was a little girl and use to make the clothes for my bardies. I always wanted to own a business and it made sense for me that it would be in fashion.

What problem did you want to solve with the business?

A few, Canadian made clothing that is not overly priced. Styles that designed with curvey women in mind. And evening wear made with comfortable fabrics.

Who are your clientele/demographics?

Women ages 25-40

How does your business make money? How does it work?

We sell to dress stores across Canada. Our designs can also be found on our website and private Showroom in Saint-Laurent.

Where in the city can we find your profession?

My office/showroom is in Saint-Laurent, QC.

What is the best question a prospective customer could ask a member of your profession when comparing services? Give the answer as well.

Where is your product made and Can it be made in other colors? The answer is everything is made in Montreal and yes we offer customizing in the color of your choice!

What is the best part about what you do? What is the worst part?

Best part is seeing how people react to the way they feel in my designs. It brings out the most powerful version of them!
