Favourite musician now:
I’ve been enjoying Cindy Lee’s music a lot lately. I’m also a big fan of how they released their most recent album, Diamond Jubilee, not giving streaming services the biggest piece of the pie.
Guilty pleasure song:
“3 Nuits Par Semaine” by the French band Indochine. It’s a very catchy but cheesy ’80s hit about meeting up with your lover three times a week.
Live show ritual:
We don’t have any specific ritual, although Henry used to take a nap after most soundchecks—but that’s surfing a very dangerous wave. The most important thing for us is to make sure everyone’s feeling good, joking around, and having fun together before the show.
Favourite local musician:
Elle Barbara. I’ve been listening to their most recent album on repeat—truly unique. I highly recommend seeing their live shows.
EP or LP?
LP, no debate here. Albums are a forgotten art.
Early bird or night owl?
100000% night owl. The peace and quiet of the night are truly precious in this city.
Road or studio?
The road—meeting people, making friends. All of that energy affects your time in the studio in a very positive way.
Any shows or albums coming up?
Our new album, Explosive Device, just came out!
