Still Björk!

Guilty pleasure song:

I have no guilt for what I enjoy. I enjoy everything from progressive metal to Britney Spears.

Live show ritual:

I really enjoy a CBD tea with lots of lemon and honey. Soothes the nervous system, soothes the throat.

Favourite local musician:

Generally, I’ve seen a lot of really innovative visuals and sound design come out of the MUTEK festival. I enjoy any local artist that isn’t trying to conform to what already exists- I couldn’t pinpoint one because there’s a great scene here overall.

EP or LP?

It depends on how much needs to be expressed at the time, and what your concept is, also where you’re at mentally and emotionally.

Early bird or night owl?

I’ve never had a consistent circadian rhythm! I’m learning to trust my chaotic energy shifts and that seems to work for me.

Road or studio?

The studio is my cozy little lair. The world could be ending and I would remain unbothered.

Any shows or albums coming up?

I’m currently arranging an album called ‘The Intangible’ – It’s a blend of upbeat rhythms that borrows from many pop styles and has a dreamier, ethereal quality. I’m making it with the intention to overcome my depression and to become lighthearted again.

Big Ohana Sushi fan!

I love classical music halls like La Maison Symphonique. Or whenever they host concerts in the churches.

I enjoy the smaller independent record shops. There’s many I have yet to explore, but I really enjoy when labels and artists host pop-up listening parties or shows.
