Which neighbourhood are you in?

I have lived in the Montreal area since my university studies, which began in the 1980s. Outremont, the Plateau, Rosemont-Petite Patrie are the neighbourhoods where I lived and most recently, I moved to Boucherville, always spending many days in Montreal for developing many musical and stage projects.

What do you do?

From 1987 to 2010, I was the leader of the a cappella group « La Bande Magnétik », as well as the lead designer of « La petite école du jazz », a family show presented at the « Festival international de jazz de Montréal ». I also had the role of the professor for 32 years, which was presented every day of the festival up until the year 2020.

My list of accomplishments as a producer, director, teacher, author, composer and performer is motivated by a passion for voice, film, and particularly young audiences.

In parallel, I am also crazy about tennis, which, in 2015, brought me to become an accredited instructor and even to adventure in both of my passions by writing a song about tennis: ROGER THE G.O.A.T.

I produced and co-created seven albums linked to my creations. My projects allowed me to travel across Quebec, Canada, the United States, France, Belgium, Germany, Guadeloupe and Norway.

What are you currently working on?

At this time, I teach singing at Collège Stanislas, and I also give many workshops on music initiation to various public groups, such as the pre-school children of CPE CCJ, a project supported by “Culture à l’école”. At the same time, this past March, I staged and produced a tribute show to French songs at Lion d’Or in Montréal.

Where can we find your work?

The best place for you to find my music and to know about my upcoming events is on the website
